Job summary

Jefferson Regional Main Hospital in Pine Bluff, AR is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for a full-time 11A-11P role. The RN will deliver direct and indirect patient care, collaborate with physicians and care teams, and respond to changes in patient condition.

Experience in acute care and proficiency in electronic documentation are preferred. Shifts include days, nights, weekends, and holidays as needed; safety-sensitive position with opportunities for growth and benefits.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Graduate from an accredited nursing school program required.
• Technical in Nursing; AD or BSN preferred.
• This is a Safety Sensitive Position.
• Basic proficiency in assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care.
• Adequate verbal and written communication with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
• Capacity to collaborate effectively with other healthcare professionals.
• Basic competency in documenting patient information accurately.
• Basic flexibility to adapt to changes in patient conditions and unit priorities.
• 1-2 years of clinical experience, particularly in an acute care setting preferred.
• Proficiency in electronic documentation preferred.
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct and indirect patient care in the hospital setting.
• Communicate changes in patient condition to physicians, Nurse Manager, and care team.
• Respond quickly and accurately to changes in patient condition or treatment response.
• Delegate duties appropriately under supervision and manage unit priorities.
