Job summary

Saint Peter’s Health Care System is seeking a Same Day Surgery Per Diem RN Day to join our Magnet-designated team. You will collaborate with a skilled nursing group, perform thorough patient assessments, and ensure care aligns with established Standards of Care.

The role requires NJ RN licensure, BLS certification, and ECG training; BSN preferred. Per diem schedule and competitive base pay with potential incentives are offered.

Qualifications

• Must be licensed as a Registered Nurse in New Jersey.
• One year of experience preferred.
• BSN preferred.
• BLS certification required (American Heart Association).
• ECG course completed during orientation.

Responsibilities

• Be a positive contributor to our collaborative nursing team.
• Utilize excellent assessment skills to determine health status of assigned patients.
• Ensure all procedures are performed based on established Standards of Care.
• Administer medications and parenteral therapies per policy.
• Meticulously document all aspects of patient care.
