The Same Day Surgery Per Diem RN Day will contribute to a collaborative nursing team, perform assessments, follow Standards of Care, administer medications, and meticulously document care. NJ RN license and BLS are required; BSN preferred.

Qualifications

• Licensed as a Registered Nurse in the State of New Jersey.
• One year of experience preferred.
• BSN preferred.
• BLS certification required, as approved by the American Heart Association.
• ECG course completed during clinical orientation.

Responsibilities

• Be a positive contributor to our collaborative nursing team.
• Utilize excellent assessment skills to determine the health status of assigned patients as outlined in the Nursing Standards.
• Ensure all procedures are performed based on established Standards of Care.
• Administer medications and parenteral therapies in accordance with policy.
• Meticulously document all aspects of patient care.
