Job summary

RWJBarnabas Health is seeking a Per Diem Registered Nurse (RN) for the Same Day Surgery department at RWJ Hamilton. The role requires an active NJ RN license, BLS, ACLS and PALS, with ASN or Nursing diploma; BSN preferred. 1–2 years of nursing experience and EPIC EMR familiarity are advantageous.

Qualifications

• Active NJ RN license in good standing is required.
• BLS certification is required.
• ACLS and PALS certifications are preferred.
• 1–2 years of nursing experience is required.
• Experience with EPIC EMR is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive patient assessments and recognize clinical changes.
• Administer medications and provide hands-on care with sound clinical judgment.
• Collaborate with physicians and providers for timely care decisions.
