RWJBarnabas Health is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for the Same Day Surgery department at RWJUH Hamilton. This per diem, day shift role requires active NJ RN licensure, BLS/ACLS/PALS, and 1–2 years of experience. ASN or Nursing diploma is required; BSN preferred.

Qualifications

• Active New Jersey RN license in good standing
• Current BLS, ACLS and PALS certifications
• ASN or Nursing diploma required; BSN preferred
• 1-2 years of patient care experience
• Experience with EPIC EMR is a plus

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and respond to clinical changes
• Administer medications and provide hands-on care with strong clinical judgment
• Collaborate with physicians and providers for coordinated care
• Educate patients and families clearly and compassionately
• Document accurately in the EMR to ensure continuity of care
• Participate in interdisciplinary rounds and care transitions
