Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited Nursing Program.
• BSN preferred.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to state nursing practice regulations and ANA Code of Ethics.
• Ensure equipment is available and ready for surgical cases.
• Support safety measures including time-out, patient positioning, documentation, and surgical counts.
• Assist anesthesia and surgeon with patient needs.
• Identify opportunities to improve OR efficiency.
• Communicate professionally to maintain a respectful, safe learning environment.
• Follow policies on medication safety, patient ID, labeling, and charting.
• Participate in staff meetings, trainings, attestations, and competency activities.
