Job summary

Dartmouth Health seeks an experienced Registered Nurse to join our 34-bed Same Day Surgery Program in Lebanon, NH. This full-time role offers 4 x 10 hour shifts, Mon-Fri, with start times between 6:00 am and 8:30 pm, and responsibilities across preop and post-anesthesia care for same-day procedures.

The ideal candidate will have acute care hospital experience, BLS/ACLS, NH RN eligibility, and BSN preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited Nursing Program.
• BSN preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess, diagnose, plan, implement and evaluate patient care using the nursing process.
• Recognize changes in patient status and escalate to the care team as needed.
• Uphold ANA Code of Ethics and ensure informed consent.
• Mentor colleagues and participate in quality improvement activities.
• Precept students and new staff as assigned.
