Dartmouth-Hitchcock Health is seeking experienced registered nurses for our busy 34-bed Same Day Surgery Program (SDP) in Lebanon, NH. This full-time role supports preadmission and post-anesthesia recovery care with flexible 4 x 10 hour shifts across 6:00am–9:30pm start times.

Candidates must have acute care hospital experience; Critical Care and IV skills are a plus. Join a dynamic perioperative team that emphasizes patient-centered care and continuous learning in a high-volume setting.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited Nursing Program is required.
• BSN degree preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Assess, diagnose, identify outcomes, plan, implement and evaluate individualized nursing care using the nursing process.
• Recognize changes in patient status and modify care plan or escalate to the care team as needed.
• Uphold ANA Code of Ethics and advocate for patient autonomy and informed consent.
• Seek feedback and strive to improve performance.
• Contribute to governance of practice and quality improvement.
• Mentor colleagues and support nursing education and practice advancement.
• Delegate appropriately to the care team within legal and policy guidelines.
• Apply current evidence and standards to daily practice and translate to clinical care.
• Promote a culture of inquiry and participate in research and quality improvement.
