Job summary

Intermountain Healthcare Inc. is seeking a Same Day RN (Pre/Post Op RN) for the Alta View Surgery Center in Sandy, UT. This full-time, on-site role provides nursing care in an ambulatory surgical setting under physician orders.

Requirements include graduation from an accredited nursing program, current RN license, CPR and ACLS, and at least one year in pre- or post-operative surgical care. Competitive benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• Graduate of Accredited School of Nursing; current state RN license.
• CPR and ACLS certification required.
• Minimum one year in pre-operative and/or post-operative surgical patient care.

Responsibilities

• Assist in nursing care for patients in an Ambulatory Surgical Center setting under physician orders and center policies.
• Provide nursing care with emphasis on patient safety and comfort.
• Support operating room and post-anesthesia care activities as needed.
