Job summary

Surgery Partners Brand is seeking an Evening/Overnight On-Call Registered Nurse for the SDS/PACU Ambulatory Surgical Center in Murray, UT. The RN will assist in pre-operative care, coordinate with the OR team and physicians, and ensure patient safety and privacy during the perioperative process.

Requirements include a nursing degree, an active RN license, and current BLS/PALS/ACLS certifications. This is a part-time, on-site position with alternate evenings and on-call shifts.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• Active RN license in good standing.
• Current American Heart Assn. BLS, PALS and ACLS certifications.

Responsibilities

• Assesses, develops and implements total nursing care for the pre-operative patient.
• Records and reports symptoms, reactions, abnormalities and changes in patients.
• Administers medications and treatments ordered by the physician.
• Cares for and discharges pre-operative patients per facility policies.
• Reviews pre-operative charts for accuracy and completeness.
• Maintains patient privacy and supports families with appropriate information.
