The role requires 1–3 years of oilfield operations experience and a valid driver's license. The schedule is 8/6 with potential overtime; candidates must reside within 75 miles of Carlsbad, NM.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of experience in oilfield operations, SWD, or water handling preferred.
• Knowledge of injection wells, pumps, and basic mechanical systems preferred.
• Understanding of oil & gas safety practices and environmental regulations preferred.
• Ability to read gauges, meters, and basic schematics preferred.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor saltwater disposal wells, pumps, tanks, and associated equipment.
• Inject produced water in accordance with permit limits and regulatory requirements.
• Monitor pressures, flow rates, volumes, and temperatures to ensure safe operations.
• Conduct routine inspections of facilities, pipelines, valves, and meters.
• Identify and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and operational issues; perform preventive maintenance on pumps, motors, and equipment.
• Maintain accurate daily logs, injection volumes, and pressure records.
