Job summary

K2 Pure in Pittsburg, CA, is seeking a Maintenance Services Lead for the Salt Area to oversee offloading, conveying, and storage of salt. You will support the Maintenance Services Department and collaborate across Cell Assembly and Facilities.

The role requires coordinating maintenance activities, performing field inspections, and driving safety and continuous improvement in a 24/7 industrial setting. Strong leadership and problem-solving skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5+ years’ experience in an industrial setting.
• Strong background in rotating equipment, conveyors, and hydraulic systems.
• Ability to work in a 24/7 chemical production environment and in-person daily.
• Must have safety consciousness and PPE familiarity.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and execute Salt Delivery and Storage maintenance and operational activities.
• Perform field inspections and repairs on conveyors, motors, gearboxes, hydraulic systems, and salt storage liner.
• Plan and oversee operation and maintenance for Salt Ship Offload, Salt Conveyor and Salt Storage equipment.
• Maintain a safe working environment and lead continuous improvement of equipment and plant activities.
• Document all salt-related equipment work orders in MPUKE CMMS.
• Procure materials, equipment and parts from warehouse and outside suppliers.
• Coordinate training and testing with the Maintenance Services Manager.
• Develop maintenance and operating procedures in collaboration with the Maintenance Services Manager.
