Job summary

Morton Salt in Ohio is seeking an experienced Mill Operations Manager to lead the plant’s day-to-day operations, ensure EHS and GMP compliance, and sustain KPI performance across production, quality, and throughput. You will own area budgets, drive capital projects, oversee equipment reliability, mentor supervisors, and partner with cross-functional teams to deliver safe, efficient salt manufacturing.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related technical degree strongly preferred or ten (10) years of relevant experience.
Minimum of ten (10) years’ salt manufacturing experience.
Minimum of five (5) years’ supervisor experience preferred.
Ability to communicate across all levels of the organization
Proficiency in MS Office
Proficient in SAP-preferred

Responsibilities

Ensures environmental, health, and safety (EHS), and GMP performance and compliance
Accountable for the Mill Operations
Establishes and ensures achievement of all unit key performance indicators (KPIs).
Manages area budget/cost, volume, and quality.
Manages department project capital budget.
Manages equipment and process reliability.
Performs other related duties, as required.
