Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• 3 years of supervisor experience in manufacturing and/or food related industries.
• Bachelor’s or Associate Degree in engineering, business, or related field.
• 5 years of supervisor experience.
• 5 years of manufacturing experience.
• Previous experience working in a food manufacturing environment.
• Six Sigma Certification.
• Lean Certification.
• SAP Experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead safety initiatives and drive the Safety Journey toward an Injury-Free Workplace.
• Ensure EHS, MOC, GMP, and quality compliance within the department/shift.
• Conduct weekly safety and quality meetings.
• Manage engineering projects within the department/shift.
• Troubleshoot machine issues with hourly operators and perform root-cause analysis.
• Track and control downtime related to mechanical and electrical issues.
• Own budget for the department/shift including manpower and maintenance.
• Oversee maintenance activities, create and close work orders, and escalate issues when needed.
