Job summary

Morton Salt is seeking a Mill Manager in Ohio to direct operations for Pellets, Bemis, Flake & Mesh salt products. You will lead a team, drive EHS and GMP compliance, and ensure KPI achievement across budget, volume, and quality. Strong technical background and supervisory experience are required.

As a senior operations leader, you will optimize equipment reliability and coordinate across shifts, ensuring safe, cost-effective production that supports Morton Salt’s manufacturing excellence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related technical degree; strongly preferred or ten (10) plus years of relevant experience.
• Minimum of ten (10) years’ salt manufacturing experience.
• Minimum of five (5) years’ supervisor experience preferred.
• Ability to communicate across all levels of the organization.
• Proficiency in MS Office.
• Proficient in SAP-preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ensures environmental, health, and safety (EHS), and General Management Practices (GMP) performance and compliance.
• Accountable for the Mill Operations.
• Establishes and ensures achievement of all unit key performance indicators (KPIs).
• Manages area budget/cost, volume, and quality.
• Manages equipment and process reliability.
• Performs other related duties, as required.
