Job summary

Morton Salt Silver Springs is seeking a 2nd Shift Production Supervisor to oversee Wet-End operations including the wellfield, brine treating, evaporators, drying and boiler on a rotational schedule.

The role requires leadership in safety, GMP and QC, driving continuous improvement, ensuring equipment availability, adherence to PMs and production schedules, and supervising staff. SAP experience and a high school diploma or GED with at least five years in production are preferred.

Qualifications

• Leadership in safety journey and injury-free workplace.
• Experience with GMP, QC compliance and environmental controls.
• Ability to drive continuous improvement and meet KPIs (OEE and quality).
• Understanding of maintenance planning and scheduling processes.

Responsibilities

• Provide supervision, leadership and coaching to production staff.
• Oversee Wet-End operations including wellfield, brine treating, evaporators, drying and boiler.
• Ensure procedures are followed and operators are trained.
• Maintain adherence to PMs, equipment availability and maintenance planning.
• Communicate production, quality and EHS issues across shifts.
