Job summary

BDO USA is seeking a Sales and Use Tax Compliance Manager to ensure client satisfaction through quality review of deliverables. You will oversee returns, reconciliations, and onboarding, leading process improvements and automation initiatives.

The role requires five+ years in sales and use tax, supervision of tax professionals, and strong Excel/Vertex software knowledge. You will mentor peers and manage client relationships in a dynamic team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Five or more years of sales and use tax compliance experience.
• Experience supervising tax professionals on projects.
• Experience preparing and reviewing tax returns.

Responsibilities

• Maintain client satisfaction and support tax compliance operations.
• Process returns, filings and reconciliations.
• Review prepared returns and filing confirmations.
• Lead projects such as process improvements and amended returns.
• Develop client relationships and manage invoices.
• Onboard new engagements and oversee onboarding efforts.
