Job summary

Regis is hiring a stylist-in-training for a 90-day temporary program in a New Jersey salon. The role focuses on learning the business, delivering excellent customer service, and supporting daily salon operations under supervision.

Upon licensure, there is potential for promotion to a licensed stylist. Candidates must obtain the required state license and demonstrate Regis values of honesty, accountability, integrity, and respect.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited cosmetology school and obtain the required license within 90 days.
• Ability to work in a dynamic salon environment and multi-task effectively.
• Strong customer service and communication with customers, co-workers and managers.
• Proficiency with point-of-sale systems and data entry.
• Willingness to work nights and weekends as needed.

Responsibilities

• Market and grow the business and promote services and retail products.
• Provide exceptional customer service and greet clients by name.
• Answer phones, stock shelves, and maintain salon cleanliness.
• Assist management and complete duties as assigned.
• Support promotion potential from stylist-in-training to licensed stylist.
