Job summary

Regis Corporation is seeking a stylist-in-training for a 90-day program in a Regis salon. This temporary role is designed to train an unlicensed individual into a future stylist, focusing on delivering exceptional customer service and learning the business.

The position includes duties such as market and grow the business, observe experienced stylists, handle customer interactions, promote services and products, and manage basic salon operations.

Qualifications

• Must graduate from an accredited cosmetology school and obtain the necessary license within 90 days of hire.
• Ability to work in a dynamic salon environment.
• Good time management, good judgment, and the ability to multi-task.
• Well-developed interpersonal skills to communicate with customers, co-workers and management.
• Computer knowledge including POS systems and data entry.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Market and grow the business.
• Observe other stylists and managers and ask questions.
• Provide exceptional customer service.
• Control expenses.
• Promote and sell services and retail products.
• Answer telephones, stock and dust shelves, and sweep hair.
• Complete all other duties as assigned by manager.
• Develop the capability to promote to stylist per license status.
