Job summary

Sun Tan City - JAM Enterprises is seeking an Assistant Salon Director to oversee daily salon operations, lead tanning consultants, and uphold exceptional client service. You will drive store performance, coach staff, and ensure a clean, efficient environment while meeting productivity goals.

The role requires strong leadership, sales focus, and the ability to manage schedules, inventory, and reporting in a fast-paced setting.

Qualifications

• College education preferred, but not required.
• Management and/or Sales experience required.
• Basic Computer skills (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Ability to manage effectively in a fast-paced environment, handling multiple situations.
• Knowledge of client service techniques and operational practices.
• Problem-solving and organizational skills.
• Strong leadership, coaching and mentoring abilities.
• Team-building skills.
• Ability to prioritize and delegate.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and manage daily salon operations in a fast-paced environment.
• Lead by example to create a client-centric experience and meet personal sales expectations.
• Maintain a professional and impeccably clean salon environment.
• Establish clear goals and objectives for Team Members.
• Provide coaching, training, and feedback to improve performance.
• Generate sales reports, maintain inventory, and assist with other Salon Director functions.
• Assist the Salon Director in controlling top line revenue and expenses.
• Help maintain proper staffing levels to maximize productivity and customer service while controlling labor costs.
• Work nights and weekends as required to provide management coverage (close at 6pm on Sat/Sun).
• Have reliable transportation.
• Expect five days per week, ~40–45 hours weekly depending on status.
