Job summary

Sun Tan City is seeking an Assistant Salon Director to maintain a high-energy, client-centric salon environment and to drive store performance. You will supervise Tanning Consultants, lead by example in daily operations, and ensure exceptional service while meeting productivity goals.

The role requires managing client experiences, coaching staff, and maintaining operational excellence across shifts, including nights and weekends as needed.

Qualifications

• College education preferred, but not required.
• Management and/or Sales experience required.
• Basic Computer skills (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Ability to manage effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of client service techniques and operational practices.
• Problem-solving and organizational/planning skills.
• Strong leaderships skills with the ability to coach and mentor.
• Team building skills.
• Ability to prioritize and delegate.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and manage daily salon operations in a fast-paced environment.
• Lead by example in client-centric service and sales.
• Maintain a professional and clean salon environment.
• Set clear goals and objectives for Team Members.
• Provide coaching, training, and feedback to improve performance.
• Generate sales reports and assist with inventory and Salon Director tasks.
• Support Salon Director in revenue and expense controls.
• Maintain appropriate staffing levels to optimize productivity and service.
