Job summary

Sun Tan City is seeking an Assistant Salon Director to lead a high-energy salon team. You will supervise Tanning Consultants, drive store performance, and maintain exceptional client experiences while upholding operational excellence to meet productivity goals.

In this role you will coach and develop staff, monitor daily operations, and ensure a clean, professional environment. This position requires ability to work a flexible schedule including nights and weekends.

Qualifications

• Experience in management or sales preferred, but not required.
• Basic computer skills and ability to use Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Ability to lead in a fast-paced environment and coach team members.
• Strong customer service techniques and operational practices.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and manage daily salon operations in a fast-paced setting.
• Lead by example to create a client-centric experience and meet sales goals.
• Maintain a clean, professional salon environment.
• Set clear team goals and provide coaching to improve performance.
• Generate reports, manage inventory, and assist with director functions.
• Help maintain staffing levels to maximize productivity and service quality.
• Work five days per week, including some evenings and weekends.
