PS Salon and Spa - District Leader & Licensed Cosmetologist

PS Salon and Spa, a leading hair salon company in the senior living industry with over 1,500 locations, values positive spirit and passion for enhancing lives. Our team enjoys a collaborative and growing environment with exceptional support.

We are seeking a Professional, Licensed Cosmetologist with Management Experience to manage our multi-unit salons as a District Leader within partnered Senior Living Communities.

Job Details

Type: Full-time, 5 days a week

Compensation & Benefits

• $24/hour for Administrative & District Leader Duties: Up to 8 hours/week. You will receive an hourly rate for duties outside of salon services.
• Behind the Chair (BTC) Days: Minimum of 4 days/week at 52% commission rate. Paid per service or a guaranteed hourly wage, whichever is higher.
• Annual increase in commission rate according to company policy.
• Retail sales commission: 15% per product sold.
• Biweekly pay schedule.
• Quarterly bonus eligibility for District Leaders.
• Company benefits after 30 days (Medical/Dental/Vision/Life/401K).
• PTO as per company policy.
• Estimated annual earnings: $42,000 - $55,000+

Position Requirements

• Must have: Valid state Cosmetology license and reliable transportation.
• Minimum 4 days/week doing cosmetology services behind the chair.
• Basic manicures and pedicures required.
• Basic email and computer skills.
• Experience in caregiving (preferred).

Physical Requirements

Ability to walk, reach, stand for 6 hours, lift/move 50 lbs., stoop, kneel, and crouch regularly.
