Palm Beach Tan in Bloomington, IL seeks an energetic leader to manage daily salon operations, grow the sales team, and deliver exceptional customer service. This role emphasizes a commission-driven environment with a comprehensive training program to advance onto the management team.

Ideal candidates are motivated, target-driven, and capable of building long-term client relationships. Base salary is supplemented by bonuses and uncapped commissions based on performance.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Proven customer service experience.
• Two or more years of management experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• One or more years of face-to-face sales experience.
• Reliable transportation with flexible availability including nights and weekends.
• Good communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Ability to stand and move for 7+ hours per day.

Responsibilities

• Managing all day-to-day salon operations including labor control, staff hiring, development, and retention.
• Meeting team and individual sales quotas, measured daily/weekly/monthly.
• Consulting customers in a professional, upbeat manner.
• Proactively building loyalty and long-term relationships with customers.
• Increasing customer traffic through local store marketing.
• Maintaining up-to-date client billing records, including tracking and reconciling delinquent accounts.
• Maintaining a clean and organized salon.
• Cash handling, opening/closing business.
• Daily administrative paperwork, and goal tracking.
