Job summary

Hair Cuttery in Raleigh seeks a Salon Manager who blends leadership, business sense, and people leadership to drive profitability and culture. You will act as the salon's CEO, mentoring professionals and guiding the guest journey.

Lead talent scouting, partner with local beauty schools, optimize schedules with our Stylist App and Zenoti, and ensure a safe, high-energy salon. You’ll coach teams, manage payroll insights, and deliver guest excellence.

Qualifications

• License: cosmetology license in the state you are applying for.
• Work Authorization: eligible to work in the United States.
• Experience: minimum of 12 months in a prior leadership role preferred.
• Availability: 40 hours per week (5 days/8 hours per day).
• Stamina: ability to stand, walk, and perform salon motions.
• Safety: able to work in a salon with chemicals and fumes.
• Basics: basic math for cash/inventory and training attendance.

Responsibilities

• Be a Talent Scout for stylists and build a dream team.
• Master the Guest Journey and turn first-time guests into lifelong fans.
• Grow the salon using data and tools (Stylist App, Zenoti) to meet sales goals.
• Mentor associates using the IGROW model for career development.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and inspiring salon space compliant with standards.
