Job summary

CosmoProf Beauty in the United States is seeking a Salon Business Consultant to manage an assigned territory and grow salon sales through product education and proactive outreach. You will meet sales goals by leveraging manufacturer support, executing in-salon promotions, and expanding where appropriate via new partnerships.

You will actively use social media to engage salons, barbers, spas, schools and other beauty professionals, while traveling locally to visits shows and client sites to train

Qualifications

• Must live within the assigned territory.
• Minimum 1 year outside sales or beauty industry consultative selling.
• Strong knowledge of social media to build pipelines and business needs.
• Willing to travel locally and attend shows, conventions and educational events.
• Experience with inventory control systems and visual merchandising preferred.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Grow the business by identifying key accounts and expanding partnerships.
• Demonstrate and support in-salon promotions, programs and concepts.
• Identify customer needs and offer products and services to meet them.
• Communicate sales initiatives with vendors to achieve goals.
• Respond to emails, texts and calls within 24 hours.
• Manage territory accounts, travel to client sites and events as required.
• Maintain order entry and customer information in Salesforce.
• Grow salon clientele through social media promotion and education.
