Sun Tan City is seeking a Salon Director to lead the team and manage the overall operation of the salon. The role balances supervising staff, hiring and training, scheduling, and delivering an exceptional client experience.

The Director also ensures cleanliness, safety, and regulatory compliance while driving sales performance and modeling Sun Tan City principles. College education is preferred but not required; strong leadership and supervisory experience are essential.

Qualifications

• Management and/or Sales experience required.
• Basic computer skills including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Ability to manage effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong leadership and supervisory skills.
• Team-building and delegation abilities.
• Strong problem-solving and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Developing and coaching employees to provide amazing client experiences.
• Following up swiftly on client concerns and issues.
• Sets a positive example and remains calm during high volume periods.
• Drives company metrics by developing action plans and guiding the team.
• Plans, communicates and delegates responsibilities for smooth operations.
• Ensures cleanliness, maintenance and safety of the salon.
• Manages staffing levels to support development and operations.
• Adheres to wage and hour laws for non-exempt staff.
