Job summary

Sun Tan City is seeking a Salon Director to lead and supervise the salon team, oversee staffing, training, and scheduling, and ensure outstanding client experiences. The role emphasizes strong leadership, coaching, and adherence to company standards in a fast-paced environment.

You will collaborate with the management team to drive sales, maintain operations, and deliver Sun Tan City’s signature guest experience across the salon.

Qualifications

• College education preferred, but not required.
• Management and/or Sales experience required.
• Basic Computer skills (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Ability to manage effectively in a fast-paced environment, handling multiple situations.
• Strong knowledge of client service techniques and operational practices.
• Strong problem-solving and organizational/planning skills.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to coach and mentor while knowing supervisory practices.
• Team building skills.
• Ability to prioritize and delegate.

Responsibilities

• Developing and coaching employees to provide amazing client experiences.
• Following up swiftly on client concerns and issues.
• Maintain a positive example during periods of high volume and ensure client-first service.
• Drive company metrics by implementing action plans and guiding the salon team.
• Manage ongoing sales and overall salon operations.
• Supervise and direct the workforce, including staffing, training, and scheduling.
