Job summary

Sun Tan City, part of Glow Brands, is seeking a Salon Director in Training to drive store performance, deliver exceptional client service and maintain operational excellence. You will supervise Tanning Consultants, lead by example, and foster a high-performance, client-centric culture.

The role requires management or sales experience, strong leadership, and the ability to work a 5-day schedule including nights/weekends. Benefits included with full-time and part-time positions.

Qualifications

• Management and/or Sales experience required.
• Beauty Industry and/or Customer Service experience preferred.
• Basic computer skills (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Ability to manage effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of client service techniques and operational practices.
• Problem-solving and organizational/planning skills.
• Strong leadership, with the ability to coach and mentor.
• Team building skills.
• Ability to prioritize and delegate.

Responsibilities

• Monitor daily salon operations in a fast-paced environment.
• Lead by example in client-centric service and sales goals.
• Maintain a professional, clean salon environment.
• Establish clear goals and objectives for Team Members.
• Provide coaching, training and feedback to improve performance.
• Generate sales reports, manage inventory and assist with Director functions.
• Assist the Salon Director in controlling revenue and expenses.
• Maintain staffing levels for productivity and service while managing costs.
• Work nights and weekends; 5-day workweek with ~35–45 hours.
