Salesforce Testing Architect Job Description

Position Summary:

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Salesforce Architect to join our team. This role goes beyond traditional technical responsibilities, blending deep technical expertise with strategic leadership. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in Salesforce solution design and development while also demonstrating strong leadership skills to drive decision-making, influence stakeholders, and lead cross-functional teams to achieve business goals.

As the Salesforce architect, you will be responsible for architecting scalable and high-performance solutions on the Salesforce platform, ensuring that our solutions align with business objectives and market trends. You will play a pivotal role in guiding the team through complex projects, from inception to delivery, and fostering a collaborative environment to deliver results.

The Salesforce Testing Architect will require extensive experience in designing, driving, and managing a robust testing architecture model for Salesforce solutions, including unit testing, integration testing, smoke testing, regression testing, and user acceptance testing. Lead the development and implementation of automated testing frameworks and tools, ensuring comprehensive test coverage and high-quality development. Establish and enforce best practices for testing governance while implementing effective reporting and monitoring systems to track outcomes and identify areas for improvement. Build and maintain a centralized testing script repository, ensuring reusable, well-documented test scripts are accessible and aligned with project requirements. Guide the team in consistently delivering reliable and well-tested solutions.

Primary Responsibilities:

1. Solution architecture: Lead the design and architecture of Salesforce solutions that meet business needs and Salesforce well-architecture framework, ensuring security and seamless integration with other enterprise systems like SAP, ERP, e-commerce, and customer service platforms.
2. Strategic decision making: Influence and guide strategic decisions related to Salesforce platform capabilities, ensuring that solutions are future-proof and aligned with the organization's long-term vision.
3. Stakeholder Engagement: Lead conversations with business stakeholders, IT leadership, cross-functional teams, and external partners to ensure alignment on project goals, timelines, and deliverables.
4. Project Leadership: Manage the end-to-end delivery of Salesforce projects, overseeing all phases from requirements gathering to development and support.
5. Technical Leadership: Proven hands-on expertise in developing Salesforce solutions, including configuration, customization, and integration, while mentoring team members to elevate their technical skills.
6. Architecture Documentation & Governance: Oversee the creation, management, and maintenance of comprehensive architecture documentation and repository. Establish and enforce a robust governance model to ensure consistency, accuracy, and adherence to architectural standards across all projects. Regularly review and update documentation to reflect changes in the architecture and provide guidance to the team on best practices for documentation and compliance with governance policies.

Experience and Educational Requirements:

• Minimum of 5+ years in Salesforce industry, 3+ years as a Salesforce architect or related leadership position.
• Salesforce certified administrator & Platform App Builder required. CTA or Developer II certifications are strongly preferred.
• Bachelor's degree in computer science, management information systems, or 7+ years' work experience in a related field.

• Strong systematic thinking & problem-solving skills, with the ability to approach challenges analytically and develop innovative solutions.

Pay and Benefits:

The pay range for this position is $90.00 - $100.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment. Benefits are subject to change and may be specific to elections, plans, or programs. If eligible, benefits may include:
