Salesforce Testing Architect Job Description

Position Summary:

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Salesforce Architect to join our team. This role combines deep technical expertise with strategic leadership. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in Salesforce solution design and development, along with strong leadership skills to influence decision-making and lead cross-functional teams to achieve business goals.

As the Salesforce architect, you will be responsible for designing scalable, high-performance solutions on the Salesforce platform, ensuring alignment with business objectives and market trends. You will guide the team through complex projects from inception to delivery and foster a collaborative environment to ensure successful results.

The Salesforce Testing Architect will have extensive experience in designing, managing, and implementing robust testing architectures for Salesforce solutions, including unit, integration, smoke, regression, and user acceptance testing. You will lead the development of automated testing frameworks, establish best practices, and maintain comprehensive documentation and repositories for test scripts, ensuring high-quality, reliable solutions.

Primary Responsibilities:

1. Solution Architecture: Lead the design of Salesforce solutions that meet business needs and adhere to Salesforce architecture standards, ensuring security and seamless integration with enterprise systems like SAP, ERP, e-commerce, and customer service platforms.
2. Strategic Decision Making: Influence and guide strategic decisions regarding Salesforce platform capabilities, ensuring solutions are scalable and aligned with the organization’s long-term vision.
3. Stakeholder Engagement: Lead discussions with business stakeholders, IT leadership, cross-functional teams, and external partners to align project goals, timelines, and deliverables.
4. Project Leadership: Oversee end-to-end delivery of Salesforce projects, from requirements gathering to support.
5. Technical Leadership: Demonstrate hands-on expertise in developing Salesforce solutions and mentor team members to enhance their skills.
6. Architecture Documentation & Governance: Manage architecture documentation, establish governance models, and ensure compliance with standards across projects. Regularly update documentation to reflect architecture changes.

Experience and Educational Requirements:

• Minimum of 5+ years in Salesforce industry, with at least 3+ years in a leadership or architect role.
• Salesforce certifications: Administrator & Platform App Builder required; CTA or Developer II preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, MIS, or equivalent experience (7+ years).

Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities:

• Deep knowledge of Salesforce architecture, data/security models, integration patterns, and best practices.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to approach challenges systematically.
• Leadership and excellent communication skills, capable of conveying complex concepts to diverse audiences.
