Qualifications

• 35+ years of QA Automation experience with Salesforce testing.
• Deep hands-on automation using Playwright (JS/TS) for Salesforce and enterprise apps.

• CI/CD automation using GitHub Actions or similar.
• Experience with API testing and performance testing using K6.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and execute automated test scripts using Playwright (JS/TS) for Salesforce applications and integrations.
• Define and execute QA strategies, test plans, test scenarios, and automation approaches for Salesforce implementations across Clouds.
• Design and maintain scalable test automation frameworks using Playwright, Selenium, and other tools.
• Develop and execute functional, regression, integration, API, and end-to-end testing.
• Validate Salesforce configurations, customizations, workflows, and integrations.
• Perform Apex testing, including triggers, classes, batch jobs, and related logic.
• Write and execute SOQL/SOSL queries to validate Salesforce data and test results.
• Perform data validation using Salesforce Data Loader, Workbench, and other tools.
• Develop automated tests for REST/SOAP APIs and validate data, responses, and errors.
• Configure and maintain test execution within CI/CD pipelines.
• Conduct mobile automation using Appium/WebdriverIO as needed.
• Perform performance and load testing using K6 and report bottlenecks.
• Explore AI-driven testing approaches including AI-assisted test case generation.
• Identify, document, and track defects using Jira/Azure DevOps.
• Maintain test cases and execution results using Jira, Xray, Zephyr, or equivalent tools.
• Collaborate with Salesforce Developers, Administrators, Architects, Business Analysts, and users to ensure test coverage.
• Communicate with client technical partners to clarify requirements and align on release expectations.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies and continuously improve QA processes.

• Experience: 35 years of relevant experience in QA Automation, with strong exposure to Salesforce testing.
• Strong hands-on experience in test automation, preferably within Salesforce-based applications and enterprise web applications.
• Good understanding of Salesforce platform architecture, including Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Experience Cloud, Marketing Cloud, custom objects, workflows, flows, triggers, and integrations.
• Strong hands-on experience with Playwright using JavaScript/TypeScript for UI automation.
• Experience with Selenium and familiarity with Salesforce-specific automation tools such as Provar/Copado is desirable.
• Experience in mobile automation using Appium and WebdriverIO.
• Strong understanding of API testing and automation using REST/SOAP APIs.
• Experience configuring and executing automated tests through CI/CD pipelines, preferably using GitHub Actions or similar DevOps tools.
• Exposure to performance testing using K6 and interpretation of performance test results.
• Exposure to AI-driven QA tools, AI-assisted test generation, test optimization, defect analysis, or GenAI-based testing practices.
• Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies and modern QA practices.
• Excellent communication and client-handling skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with technical and business stakeholders.

• Explore and implement AI-driven testing approaches, including AI-assisted test case generation, test data generation, defect analysis, and automation optimization.
• Identify, document, prioritize, and track defects using Jira/Azure DevOps, ensuring timely resolution and retesting.
• Maintain test cases and execution results using Jira, Xray, Zephyr, or equivalent test management tools.
• Collaborate closely with Salesforce Developers, Administrators, Architects, Business Analysts, and business users to understand requirements and ensure comprehensive test coverage.
• Communicate effectively with client technical partners to clarify requirements, discuss defects, and align on implementation and release expectations.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, backlog refinement, daily stand-ups, reviews, and retrospectives.
• Continuously identify opportunities to improve QA processes, automation coverage, test efficiency, and release quality.
