Job summary

Jobtailor in McLean, VA is seeking a Senior Salesforce Platform Engineer to drive delivery of enterprise solutions across Sales Cloud, Marketing Cloud, Service Cloud, and Experience Cloud. Qualifications

Five (5) years of professional experience in technology platform delivery, digital product management, systems integration, data architecture, or a related field.
Three (3) years of hands‑on development experience implementing enterprise business platforms.
Experience implementing Salesforce solutions including Sales Cloud, Marketing Cloud, Service Cloud, and Experience Cloud.
Onsite in McLean, VA
Project Management knowledge
Hospitality Industry experience
Salesforce Developer Certification
Supply chain or procurement domain knowledge
Experience with data warehousing/BI concepts and tools
Relevant certifications in other enterprise platforms

Responsibilities

Elicit and document business requirements and align designs to outcomes.
Design and maintain integrations and data flows across apps and APIs.
Implement data models, security models, and automation processes.
Develop Salesforce-based solutions using Apex, Visualforce, and Lightning Web Components.
Stay current with Salesforce platform updates and standard methodologies.
Partner with business users to understand requirements and develop technology solutions aligned with business goals.
Work with external vendors to plan work and manage dependencies.
Lead digital solution roadmaps and platform enhancements from discovery through deployment and adoption.
Establish release management practices covering environments, testing, and change control.
Drive quality through unit, integration, and performance testing.
Design and deliver a Salesforce Experience Cloud portal with external authentication and authorization, row-level data access, sharing architecture, and vendor-managed development
