Job summary

Prenuvo is seeking a Manager, Software Engineering to lead cross-functional teams delivering healthcare technology on the Salesforce platform and related services. You will mentor engineers, drive Agile delivery, and set architectural direction across Product, Design, Security, and Marketing.

The role emphasizes talent development, code quality, and regulatory compliance (HIPAA, SOC 2), with a focus on scalable, reliable software and aligning engineering efforts with Prenuvo's strategic

Qualifications

• 8+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• 2+ years in direct people leadership and engineering management.
• People-first leadership to build high-performing teams.

• Strong background with Python, React, TypeScript, Flask/FastAPI, Redux, NoSQL, Serverless.
• Experience with cloud infrastructure and IaC (AWS, CloudFormation, Terraform).
• Excellent cross-functional collaboration with product teams.
• Passion for process improvement and agile alignment with business goals.

Responsibilities

• Develop talent and technical skills via regular 1:1s, mentorship, and clear career paths.
• Drive Agile Delivery: own day-to-day execution, champion agile methods.
• Provide Technical Leadership: mentor, set code quality standards, review code.
• Align Cross-Functionally: collaborate with Product, Design, Security, Marketing to align vision and backlog.
• Ensure Quality & Compliance: meet healthcare regulations like HIPAA and SOC 2.
• Optimize Engineering Operations: reduce bottlenecks and improve efficiency and team health.
• Track Performance: monitor metrics and report progress to stakeholders.
