Job summary

Randstad Digital Americas seeks a Technical Lead and Architect for the Salesforce Order Management System (OMS) to own the platform from checkout to delivery, returns, refunds, and warranties across NA and Europe. You will mentor two engineers and align with cross‑functional partners to ensure a scalable, secure e‑commerce engine.

You will drive end‑to‑end integration, governance, and AI‑assisted development while maintaining high engineering standards in a SOX environment.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of software engineering experience, with 4+ years on Salesforce platform.
• Experience as a Senior or Lead Engineer, with a track record of setting technical direction.
• Proven experience designing and supporting order management or commerce workflows in production.
• Strong integration design skills, including REST APIs, asynchronous/event‑driven processing, error handling, and reconciliation.
• Experience with middleware platforms (e.g., MuleSoft, Oracle Integration Cloud) and designing integrations with ERP, e‑commerce, warehouse, or logistics systems.
• Deep understanding of Salesforce platform constraints, security models, and governance.
• Operational experience including monitoring, incident management, root‑cause analysis, and release governance.
• Experience directing delivery partner or SI teams on Salesforce.
• Hands-on AI coding assistants usage with strict verification.
• Clear written and verbal communication skills for technical and business audiences.

Responsibilities

• Architecture & System Design: Own the technical direction for Salesforce OMS and define lifecycle design.
• Integration & Scalability: Design complex integrations with payment providers, logistics carriers, marketplaces, and Salesforce Commerce Cloud.
• Global Expansion & Configuration Governance: Lead multi‑region rollouts via a configuration‑driven model with proper review and testing.
• Quality, Operations & Security: Set standards for automated testing, CI/CD, logging, monitoring, and audit‑ready controls in a SOX‑regulated environment.
• Leadership & Mentorship: Mentor two engineers, review partner work, and drive permanent fixes over manual workarounds.
• AI Governance & Innovation: Lead AI‑assisted engineering with strict governance and verifications.
• Cross‑Functional Collaboration: Plan roadmaps with product, partner teams, and Service Cloud integration.
