Job summary

ZipStaff is seeking a Salesforce Order Management (OMS) Technical Lead & Architect to own the technical direction of order and commerce workflows on the Salesforce platform. You will design and support integrations with ecommerce, ERP, warehouse, and logistics systems, and guide engineers and partners while collaborating closely with the Service Cloud team on data handling and fulfilment.

Qualifications

7+ years of software engineering, 4+ years on Salesforce
Senior/lead engineer with Apex, LWC and Flow at scale
Experience designing order/commerce workflows in production
Experience integrating order management with ecommerce/ERP/logistics
Experience with middleware platforms like MuleSoft or Oracle Integration Cloud
Solid understanding of Salesforce security model and governor limits
Experience leading technical direction and partner teams
Daily use of AI coding assistants with good judgement
Clear written and verbal communication
On-site in Needham, MA; local candidates only

Responsibilities

Lead technical design and delivery of order and commerce workflows on Salesforce using Apex, LWC and Flow
Design order management integrations with ecommerce, ERP, warehouse and logistics systems
Build integrations using REST APIs and event-driven processing (Platform Events, batch jobs)
Design robust error handling, retries, idempotency and reconciliation across integrations
Ensure platform constraints, bulkification and scalable data models
Enforce Salesforce security model and permission sets
Define data contracts for Service Cloud agents and coordinate releases
Direct delivery partner and SI teams, mentor engineers
Own production support and incident management
Set AI usage standards for the team
