Job summary

Randstad Digital Americas seeks a Technical Lead and Architect to own the Salesforce Order Management System (OMS) across North America and Europe. This hands-on, high-visibility role sets the technical direction and delivers production-ready work.

You will mentor two engineers, govern integrations with payment providers and logistics, and ensure secure, scalable order flows while partnering with product teams on roadmaps.

Qualifications

• 7+ years software engineering experience, with 4+ years on the Salesforce platform building at scale using Apex, LWC, and Flow.
• Experience as a Senior or Lead Engineer with a track record of setting technical direction.
• Proven design and support of order management or commerce workflows in production.
• Strong integration design skills, including REST APIs and event-driven processing.
• Experience with middleware platforms (MuleSoft, Oracle Integration Cloud) and integrations with ERP, e-commerce, and logistics.
• Deep understanding of Salesforce governor limits, bulkification, data security models.
• Operational experience: monitoring, incident management, and release governance.
• Experience directing delivery partner or SI teams on Salesforce.
• Daily hands-on experience with AI coding assistants and rigorous verification of AI output.
• Clear written and verbal communication skills for technical and business audiences.

Responsibilities

• Own technical direction for Salesforce OMS and order lifecycle.
• Design and review complex integrations with payment, logistics, marketplaces, warranties, and Salesforce Commerce Cloud.
• Lead multi-region rollouts with locale, tax, and regional differences.
• Set engineering standards for automated testing, CI/CD, logging, and incident response; monitor orders and fulfillments.
• Mentor two mid-level engineers and review partner work before production.
• Lead AI governance: approved tools, data handling rules, and human-verified AI tests for critical logic.
• Collaborate with product and business partners; coordinate with Service Cloud for integration contracts.
