Job summary

Cardiff, Inc. is seeking a Salesforce engineer to own the integration layer between Salesforce and external systems. You’ll implement Apex, LWC, and SOQL, and build Python services on AWS to connect the Cardiff API, Snowflake, and lender partners.

You’ll report to the Director of Engineering and collaborate with our Salesforce Administrator, Sales, RevOps, Underwriting, and Marketing. The role emphasizes automation, AI tooling, and end-to-end production delivery.

Qualifications

• 3+ years developing on Salesforce with production ownership.
• Strong Apex and SOQL: triggers, async patterns, governor limits, bulk-safe design.
• Lightning Web Components and modern front-end fundamentals.
• REST and platform-event integrations between Salesforce and external systems, including auth, error handling, and retries.
• Source-driven development: sfdx, Git, sandboxes, and CI/CD.
• Real programming outside the Salesforce ecosystem: Python or TypeScript, SQL, and cloud deployment (AWS preferred).
• Coding agents (e.g., Claude Code, Cursor, Codex) to accelerate delivery.

Responsibilities

• Build on top of Salesforce and the path off it, using Apex, LWC, and SOQL.
• Own the integration layer between Salesforce, Cardiff API, Snowflake, Twilio, and lender APIs.
• Migrate logic from Apex/Flow to AWS services and retire in-platform versions.
• Lead release engineering with source-driven development, CI/CD, and version control.
• Ensure data quality and performance: governor limits, bulk-safe code, scalable queries.
• Provide production support and write-up for any issues.
