Job summary

Elastic is seeking a Lead Salesforce Engineer who blends architectural intuition with AI-native workflows across the stack. You will own end-to-end platform features, integrate with Salesforce and MuleSoft, and drive automation that reduces manual work while delivering reliable production solutions.

You will apply AI-assisted tools during the SDLC, design REST and event-driven integrations, and uphold engineering rigor through testing, CI/CD, and code reviews.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of full-stack software engineering experience.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or related technical discipline.
• Proficiency in modern frontend technologies (JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML, CSS) and backend development (OOP, REST APIs, databases).
• Hands-on experience with AI-assisted coding tools and evaluating AI-generated code.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and ship full-stack features end-to-end — UI, APIs, business logic, data models, integrations.
• Build modern frontend experiences and robust backend services and APIs with solid design principles.
• Use AI-assisted development tools throughout the SDLC for scaffolding, refactoring, test generation, debugging, and code reviews.
• Design and implement REST APIs, event-driven patterns, and enterprise integrations.
• Develop on Salesforce with Lightning Web Components, Apex, SOQL, Flows, and security model.
• Explore AI-powered features and governance with human-in-the-loop checks.
• Own features through full lifecycle: design, development, testing, deployment, support.
• Contribute to CI/CD, automated testing, code reviews, and Agile ceremonies.
