Job summary
Old Dominion Freight Line is hiring a Salesforce Developer II to design and deliver scalable Salesforce applications that support evolving CRM requirements. You will collaborate with business analysts and administrators, build Apex code, Lightning components, and integrate with other services to drive key business decisions.
The role also includes designing Tableau dashboards and maintaining data visualizations, with emphasis on high performance and security.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or software engineering preferred.
- Platform Developer II Certification (preferred).
- 4+ years of Salesforce development experience.
- Experience developing dashboards using Tableau.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
Responsibilities
- Analyze business requirements translating them into Salesforce solutions.
- Design, code, and implement Salesforce applications.
- Develop Apex classes/triggers, Lightning Components, and Visualforce.
- Estimate work effort with project leadership and set schedules.
- Assist with releases, deployments, and code updates.
- Develop integrations from Salesforce to internal/third-party services.
- Test stability and functionality of applications.
- Troubleshoot and fix bugs; maintain security and integrity.
- Design, develop, and maintain Tableau dashboards and reports.
- Support Tableau Server/Cloud deployments and refreshes.
