Old Dominion Freight Line is seeking a Salesforce Developer II to design world‑class Salesforce applications and deliver scalable Tableau analytics. You will collaborate with Analysts and Administrators to implement solutions that support business needs and decision making.

The role focuses on developing Apex classes/triggers, Lightning components, and Tableau dashboards, with emphasis on data integrations and secure, high‑performance applications. Overtime may be required as projects evolve.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or software engineering preferred.
• Platform Developer II Certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Analyze business requirements; translate into Salesforce solutions.
• Design, code, and implement Salesforce apps.
• Develop Apex classes/triggers; Lightning Components; Visualforce as needed.
• Assist in estimating work effort and schedules.
• Support deployments and release cycles for new code.
• Develop integrations from Salesforce to internal/third‑party services.
• Test stability and functionality; troubleshoot bugs.
• Maintain security and integrity of the application.
