Job summary

Excellus BCBS is seeking a Salesforce Developer to analyze, design, and implement Salesforce solutions using Agile methodologies. You will work with IT and business stakeholders through all project phases, ensuring quality through unit testing and adherence to best practices.

Level I–IV responsibilities expand from small feature work to complex system impacts. Solid knowledge of Apex, LWCs, Visualforce, flows, APIs, and SOQL/SOSL is required, along with strong communication and problem-solving

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or relevant field; or six years of experience in lieu of a degree.
• Hands-on Salesforce development experience on Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Web Components, flows and declarative tools
• Proficiency in Salesforce platform development including Apex classes/triggers, LWCs, APIs.
• Familiarity with Salesforce configuration (objects, fields, page layouts, record types, permissions)
• Knowledge of SOQL/SOSL and data model design
• Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate and partner with team members and leadership
• Familiarity with Agile development methodologies and testing techniques

Responsibilities

• The Salesforce Developer is responsible for analyzing, developing, and testing system solutions based on business requirements.
• Develops code, analyzes issues, participates in design and code reviews, and maintains documentation.
• Collaborates with IT and business stakeholders across project phases and adheres to best practices.
• Supports and follows documented IT processes and participates in on-call rotation.
