Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a Salesforce Developer to design and build solutions that improve workflows and efficiency across the organization. You will drive custom Salesforce development, API integrations, and platform best practices, collaborating with IT, BI, and business teams to align on objectives.

You should have 3–5 years of hands-on Salesforce experience, strong coding skills in Apex, LWC, Visualforce, and SOQL, and a commitment to secure, scalable solutions. Travel up to 10% may be required.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of hands-on Salesforce Developer experience.
• Proficiency in Apex, LWC, Visualforce, SOQL/SOSL, and Flow.
• Experience designing, building, and troubleshooting REST/SOAP API integrations.
• Hands-on experience with Salesforce DevOps tools, Git, and deployment pipeline automation.
• Knowledge of Governor Limits, security models, and data structures.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; write clean, maintainable code.
• Excellent collaboration across technical and non-technical teams.
• Undergraduate degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, document, build, test, and deploy custom Salesforce solutions including LWC, Visualforce, Apex Classes, Controllers, Triggers, and Salesforce Flows.
• Maintain and enhance third-party integrations connected to Salesforce (e.g., CTI, web portals, marketing automation tools) using REST/SOAP APIs and enterprise integration patterns.
• Coordinate and execute release and deployment processes using established DevOps standards, version control systems (Git), and CI/CD tools.
• Collaborate with cross-functional technical teams (IT, BI, Business Systems Analysts) to align on project objectives, streamline requirements, and drive system improvements.
• Participate in design and code reviews to ensure development quality, bulkification, and platform governance standards are maintained.
• Support day-to-day platform operations, serving as a primary point of support for bug detection, troubleshooting, and resolving technical issues.
• Create and maintain technical documentation for codebase architecture, API integrations, and deployment procedures.
• Other duties as assigned.
