Job summary

Excellus BCBS in Albany, NY is seeking a Salesforce Developer to design, develop, and test Salesforce solutions using agile methodologies. You will work with IT and business stakeholders across projects, translating user stories into implemented features and ensuring high-quality delivery.

The role involves level I–IV responsibilities, participating in design reviews, and supporting on-call rotations. A Bachelor's in CS or equivalent is required, with Salesforce experience and certifications

Qualifications

• One year of Salesforce development experience.
• Hands-on Salesforce development or configuration in Apex, Visualforce, LWCs, flows.
• Proficiency in Apex classes/triggers, LWCs, APIs.
• Familiarity with Salesforce configuration (objects, fields, page layouts).

Responsibilities

• Develops code; analyzes, researches, and resolves system issues.
• Participates in design reviews and code reviews.
• Creates and maintains application documentation.
• Communicates requirements and impacts with team and business.
• Supports on-call rotation and IT processes.
