  • Coordinate, prioritize, and assign tasks to meet team deadlines and manage work plans.

  • Assist in leading and managing projects or project tasks.
  • Collaborate with internal and external technical and end user groups to meet clinical and business needs.
  • Perform expert-level consulting, system administration, and analysis of workflows, data collection, and reports.
  • Translate business/clinical functionality into system configuration and workflow validations.
  • Plan, prepare, and execute test scripts for testing and user acceptance.
  • Document test results, changes, and procedures per standards.
  • Provide technical application support, triage, and troubleshooting for complex apps.
  • Monitor data quality, efficiency, operation, and data integrity; escalate issues as needed.
  • Stay informed on new tech concepts and healthcare applications.
  • Assist with implementation and support of third-party systems.

Job description

The Application Analyst Lead provides expertise in technical application support for complex clinical and/or business applications in order to improve their overall performance and ensure they are meeting the organization's needs. Leading application administration, this role organizes team resources for gathering, analyzing and evaluating user needs, and implementing, optimizing, supporting, and troubleshooting clinical and/or business applications.

Essential Job Functions
  • Coordinates, prioritizes, and assigns tasks to meet team deadlines, manages work plans and status updates and determines escalation necessary to manager and leads work groups and provides management, coordination, and communication as needed across teams.
  • Provides experience and expertise to ensure all aspects of the application integrate with the other cross-functional applications utilized by the organization.
  • Assists in leading and managing projects and/or project tasks.
  • Collaborates with internal and external technical and end user groups to ensure applications and other third‑party systems meet the organization's clinical and business needs when building and implementing the system.
  • Performs expert‑level consulting, system administration and analysis of end user department workflows, data collection, report details and other technical issues as they relate to design and build decisions.
  • Understands and translates the business/clinical functionality into system configuration and workflow validations.
  • Plans, prepares, and executes test scripts for application testing, new release testing, integration testing, and user acceptance testing.
  • Documents test results, design, change control, system problems, and internal procedures according to departmental standards.
  • Provides technical application support, triage, and troubleshooting for complex applications.
  • Monitors the systems for data quality, efficiency, operation, and data integrity, and appropriately escalates issues/problems.
  • Maintains knowledge of new technical concepts and solutions and their application to healthcare.
  • Assists with implementation and support of third‑party systems.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
Education
  • Required: Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience in relevant field.
Experience
  • Required: 5 years.
Licensure/Certification/Listing
  • Required: If applicable, platform‑centric certification required.
