Job summary

Common Sail Investment Group is seeking an experienced Learning & Development professional to empower teams through training, coaching, and transformative programs across portfolios.

You will design content, deliver workshops and webinars, collaborate with leaders to identify development opportunities, apply data-driven metrics to improve execution and impact, and guide teams toward measurable performance gains. This role emphasizes strong facilitation and cross-team collaboration.

Qualifications

• 5-7 years of relevant experience in training, learning and development, performance coaching, sales enablement, or a related discipline.
• Experience creating and managing learning content using authoring tools and software applications.
• Understanding of project management principles and execution.
• Event coordination and facilitation experience.
• Experience working with Learning Management Systems (LMS).
• Graphic design experience preferred.
• Ability to use data and key performance indicators to evaluate success and guide decisions.
• Strong presentation and facilitation skills with audiences at all organizational levels.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
• Adaptability in a dynamic and evolving business environment.
• Self-motivation with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.

Design Innovative Learning Experiences

• Partner with subject matter experts to create engaging learning content across multiple platforms.
• Develop and curate training materials for instructor-led training, virtual learning, eLearning, and digital resources.
• Ensure content remains relevant, learner-friendly, and aligned with business objectives.
• Research industry trends and best practices to continuously improve learning experiences.

Leverage Technology & Learning Systems

• Maximize the effectiveness of Learning Management Systems and identify opportunities for future growth.
• Track training participation, effectiveness, and performance metrics to measure impact.
• Maintain accurate learning records and support ongoing reporting needs.
• Use data and key performance indicators to evaluate program effectiveness and identify opportunities for improvement.

Collaborate Across the Organization

• Work closely with hiring leaders, regional teams, subject matter experts, and business partners.
• Coordinate and facilitate training programs, events, and development initiatives across multiple brands and product lines.
• Build strong partnerships that align learning strategies with organizational goals.

Continuously Improve & Innovate

• Stay current with learning trends, technology, and emerging development practices.
• Use feedback, assessments, and performance data to refine and enhance training programs.
• Explore creative approaches that increase engagement, retention, and overall effectiveness.
• Perform other duties and special projects as assigned.

This position may entail sitting or standing for long periods of time. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to communicate effectively with others; sit, stand, and walk; and use hands to handle a keyboard, telephone, paper, files, and other equipment and objects. The employee is occasionally required to reach with hands and arms and may occasionally lift or move up to 25 pounds. This position requires the ability to review detailed documents and read computer screens. The work environment requires appropriate interaction with others, and the noise level is moderate. This role requires regular travel to support different communities throughout the portfolio, with a schedule that will vary based on business needs and community priorities.
