Job summary

Milwaukee Tool is hiring for a Training Support role focused on developing and delivering key training across leadership, marketing, engineering, and sales functions. The role is housed within Shared Services and supports Digital Training, Learning Operations, and Learning Design.

You will coordinate scheduling, materials, and events, assist with New Hire onboarding, and provide LMS support to track attendance and course creation. Excellent communication and organizational skills are essential.

Qualifications

  • Knowledge of training and development practices; ability to manage scheduling and logistics.
  • Ability to coordinate New Hire orientations and on-boarding materials.
  • Comfort supporting both in-person and virtual training events; manage AV, materials, and setup.

Responsibilities

  • Execute day-to-day tasks for the training and development function including scheduling, resourcing and support management.
  • Partner with the Talent Organization to execute New Hire orientation; provide new-hire materials and codes as needed.
  • Support in-person and virtual training events by preparing materials, coordinating technology and catering as needed.
  • Oversee training rooms and activities; maintain schedule, inventory and facility work orders.
  • Provide LMS support: create courses/events, pull reports, track attendance.
  • Execute Training Champion program, assisting employees across Milwaukee.
  • Tool to execute, track, and evaluate training.

Job description

Sales Training is focused on supporting key training, including
leadership development, marketing training, engineering training, and sales training. It is
housed in the Shared Services team who is responsible for supporting the training and
development function with critical support, including Digital Training, Learning Operations,
and Learning Design.

Job Description:
Examples of duties and responsibilities:
  • Execute day-to-day tasks for the training and development function including scheduling, resourcing and support management. Design, produce and deploy key department communication
  • Partner with the Talent Organization to execute New Hire orientation. Equip new hires with new materials, assessment codes, and other items as needed
  • Support in-person and virtual training events by preparing printed materials and coordinating technology (audio/visual), catering, classroom layout and any tools as needed to conduct a training event in a timely manner.
  • Oversee training rooms and all activity including maintaining classroom schedule, inventory and facility work orders (catering, etc) 22
  • Provide technical support within the LMS including creating courses and events, pulling reports and rosters and tracking attendance, as needed.
  • Execute Training Champion program, assisting employees across Milwaukee
  • Tool to execute, track, and evaluate training
