Job summary

Meier Agency is seeking a Sales Trainer to lead in-field and quickly advance to leadership while continuing field work, including sales calls and training new hires.

You will build a personal book of business, develop practical training programs, coach reps, and collaborate with Sales Managers to boost performance. The role is based in Kentucky, with in-person, business-to-business engagement and a competitive compensation package.

Qualifications

• Experience using sales-related software is beneficial (CRM).
• Willingness to obtain Health & Life license; licensing reimbursement offered.
• Bachelor's degree or 4+ years of professional sales experience.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Build and manage your own book of business through cold calling clients.
• Develop and implement tailored sales training programs.
• Lead in-field training sessions for new hires and seasoned reps.
• Collaborate with Sales Managers to assess training needs.
• Evaluate training effectiveness using feedback and performance metrics.
• Provide ongoing coaching and mentorship to new sales reps.
