Job summary

Rexel USA, Inc. in Tampa, FL is seeking a Sales Trainee to join the Mayer Team. The program provides hands-on experience across product knowledge, warehouse operations, and customer service while you rotate through branch and sales roles.

You will learn the full sales process, build strong customer relationships, and prepare quotes while gaining exposure to regional operations, with the goal of advancing to frontline sales positions within Rexel’s electrical and data solutions business.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of customer service, sales, or related experience.
• High School diploma or GED required.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office (Excel, Access, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).

Responsibilities

• Complete the Sales Trainee orientation program focused on product knowledge, warehouse operations, customer service, sales, and marketing support.
• Gain knowledge of all aspects of the sales process including outside, inside, and counter sales.
• Answer customer inquiries, process orders, and generate quotes.
• Learn to build customer relationships and provide excellent service.
• Learn to complete operational documents and reports such as price sheets and catalogues.
