About

Summary: The Sales Trainee role prepares employees for positions as Account Representatives or Customer Service Representatives. The training period lasts up to 15 months, during which trainees shadow experienced staff to gain sales, product, and customer base knowledge. They also work in the warehouse to learn shipping, receiving, inventory, and delivery processes. Additionally, trainees participate in online and satellite classes covering product knowledge, sales, and leadership skills.

Job Duties

1. Participate in and succeed in company-sponsored training classes.
2. Develop competent presentation skills.
3. Perform other duties as assigned.
4. Train across various branch functions including inside sales, outside sales, inventory management, delivery, warehouse, and administrative tasks.

Education & Experience

Typically requires a bachelor's degree, preferably in Industrial Distribution or a related field.
